It's nice to see another book. I didn't even realize this was out, despite following the author.Chief Ranger Henry Shore has retired now, and life for him and Ann has changed a lot. They travel, she writes, he takes photos for her books, and Sasha the cat accompanies them in their RV. Crater Lake seems to be quiet, with no sign of additional dinos, or sadly, no sign of the helpful Oscar, the little dino who rescued a cat, led Henry to a helicopter crash site, and warned the rangers when an attack was coming.A quiet life suits Henry at this point. He's tired, not interested in taking risks any longer, and is perfectly happy to catch fish for dinner on a regular basis. However, there's one change that he can't ignore any longer.His son-in-law, Justin, the scientist who helped eradicate the dinosaurs, is now working on another project, and finds it's time to get Henry involved. That's another change.Henry finds that he now gets to have another adventure, and see something that he thought he'd never see.I won't spoil the plot for you. I do look forward to seeing the next couple of books! I liked thus book because of the clean language. I don't know if thus is the last in the series, but I hope not. I did not go be it five stars because there was just too little actual dino action. The story itself was decent. Gotta love Oscar. I knew from.the beginning that something was wrong with Ann. Pretty decent read. Yes, I recommend it.
